Debra Myers
Owner & Business Manager
Debbie and her husband Dave own Double M Stables, and she serves as its manager of business operations. Debbie is spearheading the effort began in 2009 to turn Double M Stables into a premier training facility for children and young adults participating in the hunter jumper sport. She is particularly proud of the facility’s jumping arena, which is competition class, and its 13-stall barn.
Debbie can’t remember not owning horses. When she was a child growing up in Michigan, her family owned a number of horses and used them for Western pleasure riding. When Debbie and Dave moved to Southwest Florida in the 1980’s, they made sure to buy property that horses would love, and they soon purchased a number of Tennessee Walkers. Debbie began to turn her focus to the hunter jumper sport in 2006, when her youngest daughter Mandy fell in love with English riding. Her overriding goal is to support her daughter’s interest by providing her and other children and young adults in Southwest Florida a safe, high-quality facility where they can ride.
Debbie is also Broker/Owner of EXIT Compass Realty in Port Charlotte, FL.
